It is crazy to realize that we are half way through September already! School started here on the 8th and so far, Cort seems to be having fun. He has a great teacher though, which always helps. Besides, isn't 6th grade just one of the best years to be a kid in school?
So, have you begun your fall decorating? I want to sooo bad, but have been extremely busy with projects for kits. I did manage to pick up a few small pumpkins that I use to fill my big pots in the front of the house. I'm just waiting for a moment to breathe so that I can get outside to pull out the impatients and ivy from the pots, then there will be tall purple grass, pumpkins and a variety of red, yellow and orange flowers in the pots. I love a change of seasons... especially fall.
Have you been able to check out the kits that I did for Frost it Pink ? I have a new one that I didn't share with you here. It's a fun little 7Gypsies album.
Pretty much all 7Gypsies product. I love their product when I want a darker, more old and used look and they have such cool metal embellishments.
I just completed 2 more kits for The Scrappy Gourmet also. They should be up very soon. Hopefully within the next week. This kit features the new Pink Paislee Amber Road collection. Plus there are lots of ribbons, buttons, and lace. The Scrappy Gourmet kits are always loaded with product for you to use. There is one 12x12 layout, 1 home decor item and 3 fall cards to make in this kit and you will have a lot of extra product to make more things on your own.
Here is a link to The Scrappy Gourmet page with the above kit: Amber Road kit
And yes, you know it's coming... a Christmas card set. There are instructions and step by step images for 10 unique cards. You'll have fun working with glitter, buttons, silver trim and more. I bet that you'll even have a few extra papers to make some doubles if you want to. Look for these again at The Scrappy Gourmet very shortly.
Next up for kits I am making a BasicGrey Nook and Pantry Recipe Keeper. Oh, how I love those papers and those colors. I am just loving the process. It will be made from a Creative Imaginations Scalloped Chipboard Binder. So fun. This will be available November 1st. I'm sure that I'll come up with something else also before November. I have a Maya Road house album that I'll be using with the Melissa Frances Christmas papers so that should be on the site in October.
Just a note also, that on November 20 and 21, I will be in Massachusetts to teach for Right at Home Scrapbooking . I will be teaching 3 or 4 creative art classes-- one on Friday night and 2 or 3 on Saturday. So, if you live near North Attleboro, MA please come and visit me! More details to come later on what projects we will be creating.
Okay, I am off to work. No time to play this week at all. Oh, and who wants this?
I made him for CHA last summer with the BasicGrey Ambrosia papers. Leave a comment and I'll add you into the drawing to win this project.
Enjoy your day!
Oh how cute, I just love Halloween & he would be an adorable addition to my house! Laura
