Hello! I'm back with a few things and some thank you's to all of you that show interest and give me humbling praise for my creations. You all must be the best blog readers ever! I love sharing with you and am so glad that you keep coming back. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Summertime is flying by. I can't believe that it is County Fair time here again. That seems to be the final sign of the season ending and then the start of school is right around the corner. We have one little trip yet to take to the Northshore, but other than that things quiet down until the late September family wedding that we have.
I've been trying to play catch up here after the CHA crunch that kept me from doing anything extra other than paper crafting and scrapping and some light housework. I'm painfully slow at creating. Ugh. So. Slow.
I made a new Melissa Frances project and it was so fun. I love when I have no restrictions. I like to mix and match collections and get my hands sticky and full of ink and this project was perfect for that.
It sort of came to me about a week ago when I had been at my friend Gayle's house and we were relaxing by her pool when a baby bunny kept hopping in and out of her flowers. It was so cute and tiny. Bunnies actually always remind me of Gayle. She has a beautiful collection of bunnies that peek out from behind her plants and floral arrangements in her home. When I look at some of my own little collection, I think of her.
I remember one day last Spring that she and I were shopping at TJ Maxx and we came upon the bunny decor. I grabbed one of the paper mache bunnies immediately and held on tight, because there was only one of him. You might remember him as he was on my blog header for awhile. Just love him.
Then we saw these super long earred ones. They had us laughing and playing with their floppy ears. I'll always remember that day and how something so silly got us laughing so hard.
So, my new "Thankful Bunny" is a reminder of my friend and all of the bunnies in our lives.
The papers are from Melissa's "Thankful" collection. Her body has "Smile" patterned paper and the fleece ears are lined with "Hope " paper then machine stitched. There's a sweet little Vintage "Friends Forever" sticker and some vintage felt flowers that are about 70 years old as they were found in an old factory.
You can see her over at the Melissa Frances Blog and also read more about me and my interests as the Featured Designer. Then come back and tell me what my favorite Melissa Frances product is and I have a little something to give away :-)

Here's a little Creative Cafe share too.
Some pretty new floral paper and a polka dot clear acetate sheet that was cut with the AccuCut die cutting machine.
Plus a fun little Pumpkin project that people will be making at their local scrapbook stores in September where the Creative Cafe Artbar is available. Love those felt flowers and their many possible uses.

One last thing!
Marie Sheil you commented on my last post asking for the Cupcake pattern and instructions. Please EMAIL me. Your comment came to my inbox without a shortcut to your email, so I haven't been able to send it to you. You've been so patient not to have asked again!
Hopefully everyone else has gotten the pattern and instructions, but if I missed you please email me and I'll get it sent right away.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Linda
