Today is the day that I get to share all of my projects that I did for the BasicGrey booth at CHA Summer. I love these new collections of papers and am so excited to share what I did with them.
So here goes:
The Cupcake Trio is made with the "Eva" collection and I sugared them up with some Martha Stewart glitter then topped them with some whipped cream (white tuelle) and a cherry. So darn fun!
The little felt birds have 1/2" punched circles that make up the wings and tails and they sit atop a "seed" container and a candlestick. (These are the same birds that I gave away the pattern for in a January blog post.) "Offbeat" is the name of this collection of papers. I wasn't so sure about this collection at first because it seemed a bit too modern for me, but I think that it can also look a bit vintage depending upon how you use it.
More Halloween projects. Actually these 2 projects with the pumpkins got me thinking on the the other one's that I did. They started it all ;-) ;-)
This is the beautiful "Ambrosia" collection and I love it for fall even though it's not a Halloween collection, it's colors are perfect for it.
My first Jack in the Box! Isn't he cute and wouldn't he look adorable in a little boy's room?!! This is made with the "Granola" collection papers. I. LOVE. THESE. They remind me of some of the very first BasicGrey papers.
Jack's head is made with a styrofoam ball in case you were wondering. I made some indentations for the eyes then painted it with white Gesso. I have a new appreciation for styrofoam balls these days--lol-- I also used them for the cupcakes. I used to wonder what in the world people ever did with those things, now I know! :-)
This clipboard is covered in "Euphoria" papers. So pretty and colorful. The letter and diecut stickers also come with the "Collection Pack" . I'm so glad that they kept that font for some of the new letter stickers because it is my favorite.
Almost done....
My last project is a Recipe box and index cards that are covered in "Urban Prairie" papers. That black in those papers is yummy. I love how it offsets everything else and just pops. This collection as a whole is so fun. I can't wait to use it more!

That's it for now. How do you like the new BasicGrey? Imagine how good it looks irl-- you will love it. Speaking of that... how about a GIVE AWAY????!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know someone would love to win some of the new BasicGrey papers. So, leave a comment and I will draw a name on the evening of Tuesday, July 22 and post the winner in my next blog entry. Exciting!!!! Good luck to all.
